- Enter your username and password, as shown in your email. Select "Login".
- You will see a list of your profiles. Most users initially have one profile. Click on a profile to access it.
- The first time you access a profile you will see a "Launch Validis Connect" button. Click on this and run the Validis Connect Tool.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to enable Validis to access your data.
- Validis will upload your data for analysis. Click on "Finish" and your analysis results will load into your browser.
Looking at your results for the first time
You will now be provided with a report detailing the areas for you to examine in your accounts.

To drill down to the detailed issue reports click "See full results". You can navigate to any point in Validis by using the left hand menu bar. If you need help or explanations at any stage
whilst using Validis use the
icon and you will be taken to the relevant help file. Alternatively you can click on the "Help Centre" link in the main menu bar to access the help page index
and select the relevant subject.
Adjusting your results
Validis allows you to control the volume of issues that are reported back to you in two ways. The first is by setting a materiality level so that issues are only reported to you if they are above the amount you have chosen. Alternatively adjust the period being investigated. You can review from a single month up to the entire data set. To adjust either of these click on them at the top of the report you are viewing.

You can also review the results you are getting and file away those that you feel are not important using the tracking facility
icon located at the right hand side of all your results.
Drilling down to transaction details
To identify the transactions that have caused an issue click on the
icon by the issue title and any sub-item (e.g a time period) until the relevant transactions are shown. For every
potential issue that Validis identifies, you will be told exactly what the issue is and then shown all the transaction detail needed to take any further action.

Note: Any adjusting changes must be made in your accounting package. Validis will only identify possible anomalies you may wish to look into further.
